Recognition Programs


The National Skeet Shooting Association and its generous sponsors honor competitive shooters through a number of recognition programs at regional, national, and international levels. Inclusion is based on highest placement in points races for each category, with points being based on shoot scores and finish, the number of shooters in an event, shoot difficulty factor, and other criteria.

Bill Fertig Added to Referee Honor Roll Bill Fertig Added to Referee Honor Roll

Bill Fertig was honored during the NSSA Hall of Fame Banquet as he was named the 2014 inductee to the Referee Honor Roll. Fertig has shot over 245,000 registered targets and won a number of state championships during his career, and in 1995, he was inducted into the Florida Skeet Hall of Fame.
